- The course is designed for early childhood education students, educators or parents who work with or interact with children in a classroom or family setting. Students will learn how to differentiate between compliance and relationship-based discipline methods, implement relationship-based discipline strategies, and identify children’s needs based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Other topics covered include brain development, rewards and praise, and conflict resolution.
