    Description
This course combines theory with the practical 'real world' aspects of the organization, planning, operation, and management of small business in the American Free Enterprise System. The course is designed for students who (1) have an idea for a new venture and have assessed its feasibility or, (2) are now involved in managing a small business and would like to expand the business or, (3) are involved in managing a department/division of an existing medium to large sized enterprise. In this course, emphasis is placed on managing a business or department through careful planning. Students will write a business plan, and learn how the plan can be used to manage a business or department/division.
