    An integrated, interdisciplinary survey of global architecture from prehistory to 1500 CE. An investigation into how built environments reflect and influence the religious, political, and philosophical perspectives of the builders and societies that created them. Includes architecture from prehistory, the ancient Near East, Greece and Rome, South and Southeast Asia, China, early Islamic Empires, Medieval and Renaissance Europe, and Pre-Columbian America. Meets Arts and Humanities requirement for general education
