The students will learn to analyze the way the formal elements of literature contribute to its meaning, to analyze literature as a human experience, and to read through diverse the historical and cultural lenses of Latin America. It stresses literary analysis and discussion, as well as the writing of interpretive and analytical essays within the context of the literature and civilization of Latin America. Computer skills are necessary for accessing and performing coursework online. The course is conducted in Spanish.
