We will consider a variety of representative problems covering a wide range of settings and multicultural perspectives. Topics include dysfunctional families, domestic violence, incest, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol abuse, sociopathic personalities, school bullying, trauma, death and dying, serial killers, and the nature of neuroses and psychoses. Career planning issues are also considered.
