    Description
    3 hours. Physics 6 is the first semester of a two- semester, trigonometry-level sequence in general physics. This course covers topics in mechanics, heat and sound. Problem solving is an integral part of the course. Students majoring in Physics, Engineering or Chemistry should take Physics 37, 38, and 39. Life Science majors requiring a year of calculus-based physics should take Phys 66 and 67. MAXIMUM UC CREDIT FOR PHYSICS 006, 007 AND 037, 038, 039 AND 066 AND 067 COMBINED: MAXIMUM CREDIT: ONE SERIES.
