- This is the first course of Elementary French, designed for students with little to no prior knowledge of French. It introduces students to basic French phonetics, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and grammatical structures, with special emphasis on language practice and use in relevant real-life situations. Students explore authentic cultural contexts of various French- speaking cultures.
