    An introduction to programming applications that use a graphical user interface (GUI) in a Web based environment such as ASP.Net to access and modify data in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) using object- oriented programming (OOP) principles and Structured Query Language (SQL). Topics include: Server side technologies, event driven programming, relational database design, website security and data validation. The class will be taught using one or more of the OOP programming languages currently used in the business world, such as Visual Basic.NET or C#. THIS COURSE REPLACED CO SCI 870 IN SPRING 2020.
