    Students explore the field of communication studies, including interpersonal, intercultural, group communication, and media/media literacy, in addition to discussing ethics, the First Amendment, and other contemporary communication issues. Students examine tools used in the study of human communication, such as theories, basic methods, assumptions, and processes. Students critically analyze communication messages and their channels, and the skills necessary to communicate competently in various contexts.
