The purpose of this course is to advance student's theoretical and practical knowledge of the Linux Operating System so that the student can take Linux certification exams at LPI 3 level. The exams are external to this institution and a fee applies. The student is expected to do some preparatory work on their own prior to taking the certification tests. Subjects covered: Advanced: LDAP, Samba, Mixed Windows and Linux environments, Security(Host, access, network), Virtualization, High Availability Cluster Management and Cluster Storage.
