- This course examines the theoretical basis for the pharmacological treatment and management of common health problems associated with respiratory therapy to help students achieve their current professional goals and prepare them for practice. The topics covered include the classification of drugs, their pathophysiological basis for therapeutic use, potential adverse effects, drug interactions, and contraindications as they relate to clinical practice.
