    This is a comprehensive introduction to the science of biotechnology. The course presents theory and offers hands-on laboratory experience. Representative techniques presented in this course include: DNA purification, bacterial transformation, DNA gel electrophoresis, polymerase chain reaction, protein purification, SDS-PAGE and Western blot.
