- This beginning course in water treatment covers regulations related to water treatmen and water quality control, basics of water treatment plant processes and inter-relationship of processes, and introduction to operation and maintenance of water tratment plant. One of the objectives of the course is to prepare students for Grade 1 and Grade 2 Water Treatment Operator Certification by the Department Of Public Health (CDPH).
