Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAA hands-on course in the digital page layout application Adobe InDesign. Students will learn to construct page layouts for print, including the specification of style sheets, parent pages, typographic fonts, setting type in columns and wrap-around, working with spreads, multiple pages and long copy documents, using images and illustrations, and the preflight preparation of finished document files for print and online published documents. Combine new design skills to design a short book and communicate effectively with printers and vendors using real-world industry language.
