Topics include multicultural issues involving research and testing, cultural differences in worldviews, and cultural differences in communication. The experiences of immigrants and refugees, ethnic minorities, disabled people, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are also discussed. Other topics including stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, racism, cultural identity development, health, and mental health are integrated throughout the course.
