Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionMSCNC 112A (Technology and Application of Machining IA) is a lab course that will engage students with machine shop specific topics including; shop safety, speeds, feeds, set-up, operation and technology of basic machine tools. Band saws, drill presses, lathes, mills, pedestal grinders, power saws as well as computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools will be introduced and used by the students. Along with the machine tools, students will be expected to identify, manipulate and properly use and read basic hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
