    This advanced-level course explores the fundamentals and key characteristics of animal skins (leather). Students will learn the essential techniques for pattern making and designing leather garments, including jackets, pants, dresses, and skirts. Instruction will focus on transforming basic blocks into unique leather clothing designs, with an emphasis on understanding the properties of leather as a material. Through hands-on lab work, students will develop skills in pattern creation, fitting, and garment construction specific to leather fashion.
