    Description
Plane stress-strain, axial, torsional, bending and shear stresses are studied, including combined loads, Mohr's Circle, principal stresses and strains, and pressure vessels. Generalized Hooke's Law, material properties, allowable stresses, factor of safety, statically indeterminate members, shear and moment diagrams; moment-area, and slope by double integration, singularity functions, superposition, moment-area, and Castigliano methods are also studied. Topics include thermal expansion, indeterminate forms and column buckling. ENGINEERING GRAPHICS & DESIGN
