This introductory course covers the basic fundamentals of planning, installation and maintenance of high and low voltage electrical systems. Basic functions of generation, both hydro and steam are covered. The transmission and distribution of electrical power will be reviewed. Fundamentals of electricity, identification, function, and operation of components will be surveyed. Ohms law, safety, ropes, knots, rigging, and tools required in the trade will be reviewed.
