Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course covers CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) and BIM (Building Information Model) for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing fundamentals, as it applies to the Architecture Field. Standards, codes, regulatory frameworks and templates are applied as per industry guidance. The student learns how to draw in digital environments and visualize multiple disciplines into a single digital model. This procedure eliminates many of the uncertainties found during the construction phase as well as clashing, scheduling conflicts, construction alignment and `cradle to cradle' strategies.
