Transfers ToCSUDescriptionStudents complete a comprehensive residential estimation project including materials, labor, overheads costs and expenses. Students perform materials take off using detailed and unit methods. Students estimate concrete and rebar requirements, lumber needs for floor, wall and roof construction as well as interior and exterior finishing materials. Labor costs are also calculated for common construction jobs. At the end of the course students will complete a comprehensive estimate for a residential construction project.
