Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course deals with the organizational opportunities and challenges faced by directors and managers of non-profit and public service organizations. Students will gain an understanding of the roles and accountabilities of non-profit directors and managers and learn to work effectively within such organizations by recognizing and applying knowledge about different governance structures and the functional domains common to most public benefit organizations including strategic and operational planning, fund development and community engagement.
