Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides an introduction to communication between people from different cultures. Through the study of the theory and practice of intercultural communication, this course provides for the development of both a more global communication perspective and greater appreciation of other cultures. This course will examine variable affecting intercultural communication including language, verbal and nonverbal communication, cultural values, perception, communication inferences, communication expectations and the impact of media images on intercultural communication.
