    Science (3) UC:CSU Cal-GETC Area 4 Lecture 3 hours This class considers the logic of the scientific analysis of political and social institutions. Analyzes the various methodological tools utilized in social science research and emphasizes clarification of basic social science issues. Topics include research design, conceptualization, measurement, sampling methodology, instrumentation and both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Students will analyze specific data collected from existing statistical sources.
