    Description
This is a basic course in information technology project management for practitioners and students. It covers the nine project management knowledge areas (project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, and human resource, communications, risk, and procurement management) as well as the five process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing). The course builds on the PMBOK Guide to provide a solid framework and context for managing information technology projects. It provides information on earning and maintaining Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as other certification programs, such as CompTIA's Project+. All lab assignments for this course are project-based. This course uses Microsoft Project as a tool. MANUFACTURING & INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (MIT)
