    This course includes the study of the trigonometric functions and their inverses; measurement of angles in degrees and in radians; evaluating triangles; solutions of trigonometric equations; verification of trigonometric identities; vectors; complex numbers; graphing trigonometric functions and polar curves. MATH 243 Preparatory Mathematics for STEM Majors with Calculus Requirement This course provides topics essential for a comprehensive background for the Calculus sequence. Topics are chosen from a variety of Calculus prerequisites such as algebra review, functional analysis, analytic geometry, theory of equations, sequences and series, trigonometry and its applications.
