Laboratory exercises will examine the history of the earth from its origin to the present as interpreted from the fossil record and radiometric dating techniques. Also included will be the evolutionary study of fossils and study of rock types and ancient landforms. This course will include methods used to determine events in Earth history and reconstruct past environmental conditions. Field trips may be taken. Strongly recommended for the student who is enrolled in or has completed Geology 002. HEALTH
