This course will also focus on the application of literacy strategies across multiple content areas and address the needs of diverse learners using alternative or adaptive methods. The course will take a balanced approach to literacy instruction: balancing research with practical classroom application, balancing explicit instruction with authentic application, and balancing assessment and instruction.
