Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThe Multimedia Essentials course teaches students fundamental multimedia skills, including how to use presentation software, graphics software, and other digital and multimedia tools. This course will introduce students to the multimedia building blocks of text, images, sound, animation, and video while going one step further to develop an understanding of the process of making multimedia. Students will use transitions, animation and sound in the presentation. Students will study graphics topics including vector and bitmap images, file formats, and terms related to the creation of graphical images. In addition, they will use graphics software tools to create, enhance and modify images. Finally, students will create a multimedia presentation that incorporates edited video, animation and sound, and that demonstrates good design, smooth transitions and effective message delivery.
