It covers the basics of Windows architecture, the differences in the versions, the installation, and configuration of both stand-alone and networked systems. It explains and explores the main network communications protocols, such as TCP/IP, their proper configurations, network management utilities and tools. Network administration tools such as Windows User accounts, User Account Permissions and Privileges are covered. It also covers the features of servers and their unique security considerations.
