The development of scientific procedure with particular attention to inquiry and prediction as basic cognitive skills, current math learning theory and techniques, and strategies for working with young children to promote creative thinking is emphasized. Students evaluate the use of blocks and cooking within the Early Childhood framework, particularly as they relate to science and math.
