Students will participate, under supervision, in a law enforcement or correctional facility such as a probation/parole field office, jail, detention center, juvenile camp, juvenile institution, or a similar agency. Students must meet the minimum entry-level requirements of the sponsoring agency and will be live scanned, take an oath, and TB test. The class meets once per week for one hour, and then the students will have volunteer assignments for a minimum of five hours per week with a sponsoring agency AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES (AFRO AM)
