    Description
    Formerly IND TEK 462. Credit not given for both courses. Prerequisite: WELDING 461 or IND TEK 461 with a grade of "C" or better. Advanced students prepare for 'Certification' using the semi-automatic process of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) of structural steel. Discussion and application concentrate on construction regula- tions, weldment generation, and inspection.
