- Formerly IND TEK 262. Credit not given for both courses. Prerequisite: WELDING 261 or IND TEK 261 with a grade of "C" or better. Students prepare for the L.A. City Structural Steel Code, AWS D1.1 Certification. Students practice in the Shielded Metal Arc Welding(SMAW) process under supervision and with individualized coaching. Students also review relevant welding safety and equipment information.
