    Description
    Students survey dramatic literature from ancient Greece to present day. Students will examine play structure, style, language and themes in addition to discussing the influence of the theater as a social and cultural force. Play reading for pleasure, appreciation and interpretation is emphasized. Film presentations highlight out- standing plays and related topics.
