    Formerly PSYCH 001. Credit not given for both courses. Advisory: Eligibility for ENGLISH 028 or higher. Required for Psychology majors. May be offered as an honors section. This course is an introduction to psychology, which is the study of the mind and behavior. Students focus on theories and concepts of biological, cognitive, devel- opmental, environmental, social, and cultural influences; their applications; and their research foundations.
