- Students develop skills in the use of synthesizers, Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI), computers, musical acoustics, sound design, and music soft- ware. Students develop and apply technical, composition, and performance skills through the use of digital synthesizers in conjunction with computers and music software.
