    Description
    May be offered as an honors section. Students will survey and evaluate the mass media in economic, historical, political, psychological and social terms. The focus of this course is to help the media con- sumer better understand today's mass communications; newspapers, radio, televi- sion, motion pictures, magazines, the internet, advertising and public relations. Students will learn about the relationships, ethics, rights and responsibilities of media in today's society.
