Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAdvisory: GEOG 025 or GIS 025. Same as GEOG 033. Credit not given for both courses. This course provides students with more in-depth use of GIS software and famil- iarization with more advanced GIS software operations. Students will apply GIS fundamentals and software skills to a semester-long project, from inception and initial planning to data acquisition and final project design, using census and/or other real-world data. Depending on selected project, possible use of 3-D, Spatial Analysis, Network Analysis, Model Building, and other modules. (Currently using ESRI's ArcGIS software: versions upgraded to maintain currency with industry software usage.)
