    Prerequisite: GEOG 025 or GIS 025 with a grade of "C" or better. Same as GIS 038. Credit not given for both courses. Students are introduced to spatial analysis and automation. They review the prin- ciples of statistics and relate them to methods used in spatial analysis. These meth- ods include proximity and overlay analysis, interpolation techniques, site suitabili- ty analysis, spatial statistics, space-time analysis, and geospatial regression tech- niques. Automation using ModelBuilder, ArcGIS Arcade, and Python is also covered.
