- Formerly DANCETQ 437. Credit not given for both courses. This fundamental course in Jazz dance provides students with a foundation for performance-based dance techniques of Jazz. Students are introduced to funda- mental step sequencing and combinations, music, history, terminology and appre- ciation of the evolution of Jazz dance as a performing art form, which prepares students for further study in Jazz dance technique.
