- Formerly CO SCI 552. Credit not given for both courses. Prerequisite: CS 116 or CO SCI 575 with a grade of "C" or better. This course covers Java language and object-oriented programming paradigm. Students examine Java expressions, control structures, methods, Java classes, over- loading, object references, inheritance, polymorphism, Java library packages, exception handling, file input/output, applets, Graphical User Interface (GUI), and event handling.
