    Description
    Students explore the field of communication studies including interpersonal, intercultural, group communication, and media/media literacy, in addition to dis- cussing ethics, 1st Amendment, and other contemporary communication issues. Students examine tools used in the study of human communication such as theo- ries, basic methods, assumptions, and processes. Students critically analyze com- munication messages and their channels, and the skills necessary to communicate competently in various contexts.
