Transfers ToCSUDescriptionFormerly CO INFO 578. Credit not given for both courses. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in CIS 210, CO SCI 587, or CO INFO 587. Previous completion of CIS 210, CO SCI 587, or CO INFO 587 with a grade of "C" or better is allowable. In this course, students learn how to perform basic router and switch configura- tion using a variety of network strategies. Technologies covered include VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing, Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel, DHCP (v4 & v6), Router redundancy, basic LAN switch security, Wireless LANs (WLAN), and the troubleshooting of covered technologies. This is the second course in the Cisco CCNA V7 preparation program.
