    Formerly CO INFO 572. Credit not given for both courses. Students learn to configure computer hardware such as motherboards, processors, RAM, BIOS/CMOS hard drives, optical drives, expansion cards I/O devices among other peripherals. Students learn to analyze the functionality of a comput- er system and troubleshoot various computer problems. Students acquire skill to survey, optimize, support and install Windows operating systems, and basic skill for troubleshooting Linux ad Mac OS. Students learn to support and configure Small Office and Home Networks (SOHO.) This course prepares students for the CompTIA A+ certification.
