    Description
    Students learn about United States history from early colonial period through the Civil War with special emphasis on the contribution of Mexican Americans. This course will provide a background in the political and social development of both the United States and Mexico, and in addition, is for those who wish to gain a bet- ter understanding of Mexican culture in the southwestern United States. Included is a survey of the U.S. Constitution.
