    Description
    Prerequisite: MATH 115 with a grade of "C" or better. This course offers a basic introduction to concepts in general chemistry with an overview of organic chemistry. It is designed for those students whose interests are in nursing, animal health technology, home economics, physical therapy, elemen- tary education and for liberal arts students in need of a hands-on laboratory course in physical science. It is not intended for students planning to take Chemistry 101. Students explore concepts in chemistry by hearing about them in lecture, performing hands-on lab experiments, and engaging in comput- er-based activities.
