- Ability to keyboard. Students will engage in a hands-on introduction to software applications in a Windows environment for the computer novice. Hardware basics, operating sys- tems, basic Windows operations, applications software, document creation with word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel), and basic Internet applications are studied.
