- Students gain experience in designing and executing sculpture form and acquire technical vocabulary to critique their own work in a conceptual manner. Techniques include modeling, casting, carving and fabricating with sculpture media. Historical and cultural antecedents are presented with emphasis on devel- oping sculptural awareness. 172
