However, stake- holders and funders expect evidence of impact and the value of their donations and investments. Strategic program design and evaluation can build the capacity of a community-based organization to achieve its desired goals. This course intro- duces logic models for planning programs with the end in mind while tracking logistics and success along the way. Students will become familiar with how to describe a commu- nity service program and evaluation results in the context of the public health model.
